Glamspotters Reader Panel ~ Glamour.com

Have you heard of the Glamspotters Reader Panel by Glamour Magazine?

I spotted this a few days ago and decided to sign up! You can:

•share your opinion on fashion, beauty, entertainment and more
•try new products before they are released
•enter great contests, and
•get discounts and access to events

It appears both Canada and USA are included in the Reader Panel, as there are selections for both Canadian/US addresses when you sign up. I did not find any wording advising otherwise.

Here is the link if you'd like to join with me! https://www.glamspotters.com/Portal/default.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fPortal%2fmembers%2fdefault.aspx

Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Review for The Kit

Over the last two weeks, I had the opportunity to test and review Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar refreshing and refining moisturizer, courtesy of The Kit!

Renewed Hope in a Jar contains a triple blend of AHA’s, Asian fruit extracts, and three forms of hyaluronate. This moisturizer does not contain sulphates, pthalates or parabens and is suitable for all skin types.

I loved having this on my skin! I used it twice a day as per package instructions. It didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or clogged and was immediately hydrating. After about 4 or 5 days my complexion was brighter. I did not have any negative reactions to the product.

Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar is hands down the best moisturizer I have ever used. I am 100% converted! I can’t wait to try more products from Philosophy.

Philosophy Hope in a Jar retails for $62 CDN for a 60ml jar; and $22 for a 15ml jar at Sephora. http://m.sephora.com/product/P398650?icid2=skugrid&skuId=1678465

Check out The Kit online magazine here: http://thekit.ca/

A selection of the 20 testers’ reviews for Hope in a Jar that were submitted to The Kit will be included in an upcoming article on their website.

The Results Are In For ELLE Canada Magazine’s 2016 Beauty Grand Prix! #beauty #skincare

I was included in a group of 800 ladies and gents who were chosen to blind test a total of 243 beauty, makeup and personal care products back in the spring. The above photo includes all of the products I received for free. Now, the results are in for the ELLE Canada magazine 2016 Beauty Grand Prix!

Products were categorized by lipsticks, primers, foundations, facial serums, shampoo, moisturizers, body scrubs, etc. Some categories were then broken down into price ranges. A few of my favorites made the top voted list! Namely Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo($28.50), Rimmel London Natural Bronzer($9), and Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Serum($125). My other top favorites didn’t quite make the list: Lancôme Advanced Génefique Youth Activating Concentrate($99), Dove Original Dry Spray Antiperspirant($8), and Clarins Exfoliating Body Scrub($45).

Check out the ELLE Canada 2016 Beauty Grand Prix results online at the link below, or in the next issue of ELLE Canada magazine!
